BENGKALIS - Ketua Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia (KNPI) Kabupaten Bengkalis Irmi Syakip Arsalan mengatakan momentum Hari Sumpah Pemuda (HSP) ke 90 merupakan memomtum mempererat persatuan.
"Sesuai dengan tema Bangun Pemuda Satu Indonesia Hari ini kita berharap pemuda harus tetap menjaga persatuan dan tidak mudah terpecah belah,"kata Irmi Syakip Arsalan usai mengikuti upacara HSP di Bengkalis, Senin (29/10/2018).
Menurut anggota DPRD Kabupaten Bengkalis dapil Bengkalis-Bantan ini, momentum HSP adalah momentum meresapi dan mengambil nilai-nilai filosopi dari pendiri bangsa.
"Kemudian momentum HSP ini kita jangan hanya bernostalgia terhadap kronologis sejarah yang terjadi, tetapi mari kita ambil nilai-nilai filosofis yang dilakukan oleh pendiri bangsa ini untuk menyatukan bangsa Indonesia dengan bahasa yang satu dengan rasa nasionalisme yang tinggi,"paparnya.
Ia menambahkan, banyak cara untuk berkontribusi dalam pembangunan bangsa khususnya Bengkalis. Misalnya dalam memberikan ide-ide kreatif dan gagasan dalam pembangunan.
"Tetap menjaga keutuhan negara dengan memberikan ide-ide kreatif dan gagasan yang bersifat membangun dan tidak terpecah belah dengan situasi yang terjadi,"terang pria yang akrab disapa Ikip ini.
Dikesempatan tersebut, Ikip mengingatkan kaula muda Bengkalis melibatkan diri pada pemilu 2019. Pemuda harus memainkan peran berpartisipasi dalam pesta demokrasi.
"Dalam menghadapi pemilu 2019, kita meminta pemuda memainkan peran berpartisipasi dalam pesta demokrasi dan tidak larut dalam perbedaan situasi politik"
"Silakan kita gunakan sikap politik yang berbeda tetapi tetap menjaga keutuhan negara,"harapnya.
Roctober Semarakan HSP
Peringatan Hari Sumpah Pemuda (HSP) ke 90 di Bengkalis akan disemarakan dengan penampilan Roctober. Roctober merupakan perkumpulan musisi Bengkalis.
Mereka akan tampil menghibur masyarakat Bengkalis petang ini sekitar pukul 16.00 di lapangan tugu.
